The integrated database consists of airfields from various European countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, BeNeLux, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, and more. It provides essential information such as the airfield name, frequency, and runway data.

Upon installation, VFRnav operates entirely offline, eliminating the need for a continuous data connection for navigation.

The integrated flight planning feature assists in route planning, fuel and flight time calculations. It automatically retrieves flight weather information (METAR & TAF) and enroute NOTAMs.

The flight log feature allows for the digital recording of flights, with automatic flight time tracking. Flight tracks can be exported as KML files and shared via email, enabling easy display on platforms like Google Maps.

For advanced users, VFRnav can incorporate position data from external GPS receivers via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It processes and displays traffic data directly on the map, supporting various FLARM and ADS-B devices including Stratux.

VFRnav's development is closely aligned with feedback from European pilots. Version 3 incorporates many suggestions received via email. The software is compatible with various traffic data sources such as SafeSky, CCAS, Stratux, AT-01, FLARM, etc.

All features of VFRnav are available for unrestricted testing. A license can be purchased for €49.95, which includes free updates for one year. Subsequently, update access can be extended for €29.80 annually while VFRnav itself operational indefinitely.

Notably, the license is personal and not device-specific. A single license under a Google account enables full version access on up to three Android devices. A minimum of 200MB free storage space is required for map and airspace display. The application is compatible with devices running Android 5 or higher with a minimum resolution of 480x800 pixels.
